2.     Scrutinize the excavator properly. The first thing to check is the tail spin, or amount of space the cab will need when it take turns. Here, you will have to consider the place in which you decide to use the machine.
3.     Thereafter, examine the controls. You are going to operate the machine using those controls. If the controls are faulty the machine will turn useless. Hence, checking if or not the controls of the machine are in workable condition is a must.
4.     After checking the controls thoroughly drag your eyes to the hydraulic system and engine. If access to important parts of the machine would be uneasy then you should start searching for another one.  
5.     It is advisable to buy excavators with deep depth. It will help you dig correctly and your work will be cost effective.

How to Take the Grease fitting off while Replacing Rubber pads for excavators?

There is a lot of fame in the excavation for the rubber track pad. These are essential parts of the excavators that help these machines move smoothly as well as move chunks of materials from one part to the other without any hassles. Though these rubber pads forexcavators last a long time, but with regular usage they are worn out. So, there arises a need to replace these parts. Grease fitting is one of the miniature parts that can be found in the excavators. This part makes sure that the track is tightly fit in its place.



 You cannot open the old track unless you unscrew the grease fittings from its place. To remove the grease fitting you have to first of all identify the track idler (which is a sort of smooth wheel among the large wheels) that is attached at the rubber tracks end. The grease fitting is ideally of a miniature size of half an inch and it is made of iron. The grease fitting’s appearance can be roughly described as that of a baby bottle. Once the location for the grease fitting has been identified it is time to use a wrench and rotate the grease fitting in a counter clockwise direction. Continue this motion until the grease fitting has been completely detached from the body of the excavator. Now you are ready to replace the old worn out rubber pads for excavators with the new ones.  

It is quite a simple process and you do not need professional help to get through this stage.
