• Debris in the Track: Due to deferred maintenance, several problems in the machine might arise. When the tracks are used regularly the loader collects debris like mud, rocks or dirt. The debris collected will depend on the place in which the track is used. They should be removed as soon as possible or else they will consolidate and removing them will become an arduous task. Ultimately, they will cause damage to the machine. The only way in which this problem can be avoided is by cleaning the machine every time it is used.
• Mechanical Problems: Compact track loaders are mostly used for digging jobs. Mechanical issues can happen anytime. It is wise to keep an eye on the machine and solve problems at the bud.  Or else, with time when the problem gets bigger and bigger and so does the cost of treating them.
• Balancing Matters: Due to improper balancing, problems in the machines might take place. It is recommended that a compact track loader should never be used to push something that has the capability of pushing or bouncing back.  Maintaining balance is a must.

• If contaminants such as salt or oil touch the excavators or rubber truck pad, you should clean that up without wasting a single second.

• It is advisable to keep drive components clean. This will help prevent damage from foreign substances such as mud.
• It is better to minimize exposure to the sun as it facilitates in reducing the aging process. The operating temperature should range from -25 to +55 degree centigrade. If possible, you should reduce the speed of the excavator when temperatures tend to be higher.
• You should monitor the track tension and modify it as and when required.

It is evident that one set of steel tracks for excavators will not last for a lifetime. You should keep checking them and replace them at regular interval of time or/and whenever required.
